why CHP is a solution and a winner |
|
The chart shows how generating electricity by means of a CHPU, Combined Heat and Power Unit, reduces CO2 emissions drastically. This clearly supports ideas of decentralized power generation at a much higher efficiency level than it is supplied with today. A surplus of electric energy will be fed into the public grid and generate additional income. The higher the efficiency, the smaller the footprint. By the way, fuelling a CHPU with e.g. vegetable oil (renewable) is a very good choice as long as the vegetable oil production is sustainable per se. |
