Living in Scotland, the best small country in the world, means that we need to make the best out of it, at least; obviously we are already - or pretty much - or rather sooner than later "governed" by ... the EC, the European Community; so why not try to avoid inventing the wheel and the steam engine again but take advantage of what others have developed, experienced, improved; ... if not for any other reason - and there are many- this approach is a very sustainable one, just what our planet does need now! ... by the way, if it hadn't been for tougher and tougher regulations in these countries for example as to fuel and energy efficiency, for lower emissions and consumption those industries would not be in a position to offer the most advanced and the latest technologies. ... solar, wind and other "green" industries have created more than 200,000 jobs within just one decade in Germany, alone. That should be a good reason to study, test, discuss and ... take advantage. |
